Connect2Help 2-1-1

What is 2-1-1?  It is a three-digit phone number that anyone can call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to get free information about health and human services. Trained and caring Information and Referral Specialists answer the 211 calls, discuss the caller’s needs, and offer referrals to human service programs, such as housing, food, financial help with rent or utilities, health care, legal aid, counseling, and much more.

You do not need to dial an area code or any other numbers; simply dial 211 for non-emergency assistance anytime, day or night!

Mealcall.org

Do you know someone that needs meals but not sure what program is able to help them? Mealcall.org is a site that has a listing of all senior meal programs by city/town in each state. In order to find what programs are in a specific area, simply go to www.mealcall.org and click on “search meal program locations.” Then you will “choose your state” using the drop down menu. Once you click on your state, you will find the city/town closest to you. The list will include all senior meal programs near you.
